When I was in eighth grade, I was picked to work on a six-week study of the Chesapeake Bay that the high school seniors were doing. Imagine an 8th grader in a sea of seniors...it was brutal, but anyway - one of our activities involved role playing the meeting of different interest groups. I got to be a rep from BG&E (baltimore gas and electric). My entire argument for the positive nature of industry hinged on my opening - turning off and on the room lights a couple of times and saying "Does everybody like that? Yes, I bet you do!"
