To capture the chaos of the week, I'll tell you about last night. At the same time, Elana Dykewomon, Ladette Randolph, John Keeble, and David Sedaris were all reading. Keeble was the Schooner Prize winner in fiction two years ago, so that's the one I went to. D was at Sedaris. I was jealous. But Keeble was quite good and the reading was, shall we say, intimate. His stories are dark in atmosphere, tense, but he knows when to lighten up with a touch of humor. Look for the book and pick up a copy
Other news: Omaha was featured on Studio 360. And it's time to be Green. Dude, it's 4/20, and Earth Day's around the corner. So turn off the lights when you leave the room.
