When we went to ASLE, we spent a couple days hiking, driving, shopping and eating in and around my old hometown. We climbed up on top of Mount Pisgah just so I could show you my old stomping grounds. Never again will you wonder why I'm interested in my Appalachian roots or why the landscape of Nebraska--though fascinating in its own right--doesn't speak to me.
Our campsite is down that way.
Hendersonville--and my old high school--are back over here.
Asheville is back there in the back.
We also went to this place. It's a castle. In North Carolina. I never lived there, mostly because of all the foot traffic.
I'll post a beautiful picture of D almost on fire. And at some point we'll need to talk about why science thinks that postmodernism and poststructuralism are full of shit. Oh, and if you picked up Mathias copy of the Economist, give it back. He needs his economy.
Those are wonderful views over the hills there.
