We have had snow. Wednesday got us about a quarter inch—a bit more in places—and set the mood for the holiday. We had another couple and their boddler (baby on the verge of toddlery) and a turkey the size of a second-grader. That last detail was not our plan, but we got a little bait-and-switch from the local jackass who’d contracted with our co-op for local turkeys. We got in a game of High School Drama as well as a game of King Me!
Friday was buy nothing day. We did homework and took a lovely stroll around the block as folk were putting up festive lights.
Yesterday, another bit of snow, melting now as the temperatures climb. We also have juncos, downy woodpeckers, and nuthatches. We managed to attend a jewelry show, go veggie shopping, and have an evening of board games.
Happy Holidays!
