I've got some pheasant pictures here. I have a little cache of holiday pics, but they all involve the niece and nephews, so I don't think I'll expose them here. Lovely kids. Gave me a fucking head cold, so I've spent the last four days shivering between bed and couch. Not as much work got done as I'd hoped. Ah. But I do have a t-shirt design for the magazine (thank you, David's party!) and some writing. But still. So. A bird.
D discovered it here in the neighbor's yard:
The next day, I found it under our own feeder:
For another day or two, the bird hung around the feeders and our shed. Of course, this lurking freaked out the poor feral cats that have taken over the very permeable shed for their own shedding, scratching and marking purposes:
Lovely bird, eh?
Oh, and Happy New Year! Please enjoy the rest of your winter.
Lovely bird indeed! Best wishes for 2008!
